This may help...
To remove AOL IE/OE customizations:

Close all programs.

Using Run command in the Start menu,
enter:

rundll32.exe iedkcs32.dll,Clear

Click OK:

Suggested method: mark and copy the "rundll32.exe..." line before
closing OE and the browser, then paste the line into the run dialog box.

Thank you, Kath. Another problem is Error Dialog Box appears whenever
power up the computer, which says " An error #18 has occured, & Setup is
unable to continue. This problem can be caused by a corrupted copy of the
Setup program or by a bad disk. It might be helpful to reset your system &
try again. If the problem persists, please contact AOL for assistance.
But the AOL tech could not solve it. It's a nuisance that I have to close
the BOX to log on to INTERNET all the time. TIA.

I have no experience with anything to do with AOL (and don't wish to!).
It sounds as though you may not have completed the uninstall. I should
do as suggested and contact AOL, although as you have indicated, and
probably because you are no longer with them, they may be unwilling to
help. You might try searching on Google Groups for another newsgroup
that may be able to help. Sorry.
