Gurus,

What is your favorite tool to determine the last time a file was accessed?
I'm talking about something run against 1,000s of files and outputting to a
file. I'm looking for personal perspectives here, as I
have already done a Google search.

Hello Spin,

Think you talk about user data on share's? And with user data it is allways
the same, if you clean up such files they call you where is my data. Or OS
files, that you should never touch, even it is not accessed for long time?

Best regards

You can use the humble "dir" command:
dir /s /ta /od "d:\Some Folder" > c:\Files.txt
or perhaps
dir /s /tw /od "d:\Some Folder" > c:\Files.txt
or perhaps
dir /s /ta /od "d:\Some Folder" | find /v "2008" > c:\Files.txt
Keep in mind Meinolf's pertinent comment . . .
