Subject: exchange 5.5 to exchange 2000, NT to windows 2000, SQL 7 to
Date: 10 Aug 2004 15:44:02 -0700
Hi, We are considering to migrate our network to a mix windows 2000
environment, while the Exchange 5.5 (currently in a windows 2000
member server) will migrate to windows 2000. We have two windows NT
domain controller, and one Exchange 5.5, and two SQL 7. We also has
Windows Terminal 4 with Citrix metaframe 1.8, currently we are not
going to migrate them.
My questions are:
What is the process and sequence for the migration?
Could I setup a seperate Exchange 2000 box and move the mail box from
Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000, and then re-install the Exchange 5.5
box for something else?
What needs to be considered for migrate the SQL 7 to SQL 2000?
Thanks in advance,
