Microsoft Connector for POP3 -- Cannot Verify Internet Connection

Every 15 minutes I get this message in my application log.

Microsoft Connector for POP3 Mailboxes can not verify the Internet
connection but will still attempt to download messages.

The messages download fine, and my internet connection is working fine. Does
anyone know what would cause this?

Enable logging on the POP3 connector and see what warnings/errors you may
be receiving.

How are you connecting to the Internet?
