Hi Elvyn,

I know this is possible for Windows 2003 -- this concept is called headless
server if you want to do a search on it...

It is not a problem for the operating system if you can configure the
hardware to not hang on the post with a keyboard error message.

Hope so. Been doing it for years. It's commonly referred to as
"headless" and usually only requires a few BIOS settings so the system
doesn't freeze up in POST.


I had one for a backpack beer dispenser for long walks, but I never
made it home with the prototype so I'm not sure how it worked...

Decide how you'll control it. Remote admin software, terminal
services, KVM switch, KVM over IP, etc.
