How to show mouse cursor when using USB mouse on Windows Mobil

Hi,
I think the problem is how to show the cursor, even the stylus's cursor
or the mouse arrow cursor, any one is OK.
In my thought, if the OS disable the showing of the cursor, maybe I can
draw pixels on the screen, because I know the position of the mouse pointer.
Am I right? Thanks for your help!

Typically the cursor is drawn in the display driver. If the driver for the
device doesn't have support for it, you can't add it after the fact. Now
you could probably create some driver that continually queries the current
position and draws a cursor, but that might be expensive from a performce
standpoint. Keep in mind that if cursor support isn't in the image, I'm not
sure you can even ask where the cursor position is.

In this specific case the PXA27X provides hardware support for a mouse
cursor overlay, so the performance issues are not so big.

But using the hardware support may require cooperation with the display
driver, which he can't achieve...

My experience with a USB mouse on a Pocket PC is that mouse tracking
works, as do button clicks. I could move the mouse, click on a button and
get the expected result; I just never could get a cursor image to be drawn.

How do Bluetooth mice work? Do they have a driver that does the
cursor drawing/update on a Pocket PC? Is there some technique that
could be integrated into a private build of mouhid.dll?

hank u, all!

I think I've sovled this problem, I can draw a mouse cursor in my
dirver, now it looks perfectly.
The performence maybe a problem, but we can solve it in some way. I just
want to say, it's a possible method to make the USB mouse or bluetooth mouse
running well.
