Virtual Desktop Manager

I looked through the 1st ten pages to see if anyone has
written about the above mentioned powertoy...but couldnt
find anything so here goes:

Is there any way to have different shortcuts on each of
the 4 desktops? If I add or delete one, all of the
desktops react the same.

I like the idea of different apps opening on each
taskbar, but I would really get a kick out of TOTALLY
DIFFERENT desktops!

Thanks in advance!

I don't think that is possible with the Desktop Manager.

Speaking of multple desktops, if you happen to have an Nvidia card, Nvidia's
drivers have a much better desktop manager but it still doesn't do what you
are lookig for.

Sure. Try this one:

Well, being the author of another VDM (goScreen), I do not like the
idea of advertising "Multi Desktop 2003".
I would rather say, comparing with other VDM:

"Multi Desktop 2003" has its own set of drawbacks...

The four virtual desktops looks like a good idea, but all
of my icons are on all four screens. How do I seperate
the Icons on to individual screens and keep them there?

i'm not sure you can do that, at least not with the default powertoys one.

check out some other apps, like virtuawin, though i have a feeling you'll
have the same problem.

hi everybody
When I try to configure my images for every 4 virtual desktops I fail to get
it done for all the four of them. The images fall to black sometimes or
change all to the same constant image. it is a tricky thing so far.
Is there a basic setting before I start with the desktop manager to set all
for images? thanx for al replies!
