Error 1053: the service did not respond - could not start exchange info store

I have never seen this message before and this is
happening as I had to re-install exchange due to
corruption of some of the program files.

The Information Exchange Store service will not restart
giving me the following error message.

Could nto start the Microsoft Exchange Information Store
on Local Computer

Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or
control in a timely fashion.

Dunno what this means but I assume it means that the
service didnt start.

Has any one come across this before?

Hi Mike

I hope your service is started by now, but if not, check your Application
log in Event Viewer for more detailed errors. If you post, please include
Event ID, Source, and Description.
