Help: Toshiba PCX 2200 cable modem attached to USB

Post by Joel Rubi » Fri, 27 May 2005 23:17:28

WinXP SP2

Modem is installed OK with drivers from Toshiba's website but I get a
constant "Acquiring Network Address" on the connection and I can't
connect to anything.

Also: I can't start DHCP client in services.msc Error 1068, The
Dependency Group Failed to start and I can't do control-Network
Connections. Nothing happens after I hit "Network Connections"

Should the cable modem connection use DHCP? I don't use it in dialup.

2. Please Help: USB Host adapter cable for my Toshiba Pocket PC e3xx, e7xx series

I'm looking for a USB Host adapter cable for my Toshiba Pocket PC.
Toshiba sells one for only 5 $ in the USA (Part-No. PA3324U-1ETC):

http://www.yqcomputer.com/

(Compatible with Toshiba Pocket PC e330, e335, e350, e355, e740, e750
and e755 series)

Unfortunately they don't ship to Europe and I can't get one over here.
It's a tiny little 8" cable that would fit into a letter envelope.

Anyone who could help me?

Best Regards,
Dieter
