Wireless Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 2 - Middle button problem..

Post by Rob » Mon, 16 Feb 2004 09:46:20

The problem is with the software it seems.
With a standard mouse that has a middle button, its
usually not configured for anything, so when either
playing a game or using a piece of software you can
assign a tast to that middle button.
However with the software currently availble if you
disable it, it completly disables the button rather than
just getting rid of a feature in windows itself.

PLEASE can this be addressed.

Please can you let us know what we can do about this as I
cannot use my 3d applications because of this...
Not very well designed piece of hardware.

Even the scroll button tends to "scroll" by itself
daily...
0 Not well spent in my opion.

The problem is with the software it seems.

With a standard mouse that has a middle button, its
usually not configured for anything, so when either
playing a game or using a piece of software you can
assign a task to that middle button.
For ex: Rotate [in my 3d software]

However with the software currently availble it overides
EVERY piece of software and does what you guys programmed
it to do - this is completly stupid because we dont need
it to close a window, or replace enter.

If I choose to disable your task examples it completly
disables the button rather than just getting rid of your
features.

WHO ELSE CAN I CONTACT ABOUT THIS ????

PLEASE can this be addressed.
