User accounts user.WINDOWS user.server and user.server.0000

Installed XP Home on new hard drive.

Unlike my purchased DELL XP home which has only ONE user in "Documents
and Settings": clackey

My new install has only one user (clackey) that I specified, but in
"Documents and Settings" I see:

clackey
clackey.GORILLA
clackey.GORILLA.0000

gorilla is my computer name.

Why are there three entities for clackey?

What is the purpose of each?

When would one use the different ones?

The multiple entries are created from the Default User Profile when
the system cannot determine which one to use or cannot use one for
some reason.

For example, if you reboot without logging out or if the system
crashes, then it may think that one of them is in use. Also you can
login multiple times to an XP machine and you may have done this.

Cheers,
