Nero problems: NMIndexStoreSrv.exe and NMBgMonitor.exe cause heavy CPU-Load

Post by wizz » Thu, 10 Aug 2006 19:27:29

From time to time I observed that the two programs

NMIndexStoreSrv.exe and NMBgMonitor.exe

(which seem to be installed by Nero burning program) are started (by which event ?).

Once started they consume a lot (up to 97%) of the CPU power.

Why ?

This (mis-)behavior occurs primarily under Win2000+SP4 but occasionally under WinXP as well.

How do I prevent the starting of these two *** programs (without completely uninstalling Nero)?

Have you asked Nero as it's their program you are having problems with.
