"IE cannot display the webpage" message

Post by a29hbGFnaX » Wed, 11 Apr 2007 11:46:00

Sometimes when I'm on a website and I click on a link they have, I get the
above message. The contents of the message says: "you are not connected to
the internet", "the website is encountering problems", "there might be a
typing error in the address", "internet connectivity has been lost", "the
website is temporarily unavailable", "the domain name server (DNS) is not
reachable", "the domain name server does not have a listing for the website's
domain", if this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click tools, click internet
options, click advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are
enabled under the security section" - however none of these problems really
exist. I don't even know what most of this means! Can anyone tell me how to
get this to stop?

1. "IE cannot display the webpage" after IE 7 beta 2 installed

2. cannot display all webpages with Pocket IE?

I have a problem connecting to my bankaccount webpage,
the login works fine but instead of seeing my accounts I get a blank

had a similar problem with an online ticket ordering form, the send button
was not visible,

is this a genuine bug or a problem of the settings?

(both cases tried through the USB synch cable internet access and WIFI

thanks in advance,
