XP wont print on shared network printers

We have computers running XP and Win 2000Pro on our
network. In one lab, we are having trouble printing.
There are two printers and 17 computers. The printer is
connected to a win2000 machine the other an xp. The
win2000 computers are working fine, but the XPs have
started ignoring the fact there is a printer installed.
They will not print. Sometimes you can go into the
printer properties and print a test page and the computer
prints again. Other times you have to delete the printer
and reinstall it.

What could be happening here? Any ideas?

We use win 2000 server. And all users are member of
DomainAdmin, and DomainUser.

It's not clear what your network configuration is or whether you're
receiving any error messages when you can't print to the printer
connected to the XP box. If you get messages such as "Operating system
error 71. No more connections can be made to this remote computer at
this time because there are already as many connections as the computer
can accept" or "System error 71 has occurred. This remote computer has
reached its connection limit, you cannot connect at this time." you are
running into the limit of 5 (for XP Home) or 10 (for XP Pro) concurrent
client incoming sessions. See

remote >computer has

No errors appear at all. The computer acts as if
everything went fine. But there is no print out.?????
