PCI Standard PCI-to-PCI bridge

PCI Standard PCI-to-PCI bridge

My motherboard and processor recently got fried so I had
to go out and buy new ones. When I installed Windows, I
was unable to get anything higher than 4 bits out of my
AGP graphics card. The reason was Code 12 in device
manager saying, "This device cannot find enough free
resources that it can use." I checked what the
conflicting hardware was and found it to be my mass
storage hard drive connected by an IDE controller in a
PCI slot. I was able to access the hard drive, but my AGP
card was getting code 12. If I disable the PCI-to-PCI
bridge, I all the sudden have a working video card, but
go figure, the hard drive is no longer available. I have
a Suttle AN35(N) Ultra motherboard w/ an AMD Athlon XP
2500+ processor and 1.25 GB ram. I have all the latest
NVIDA and motherboard drivers, AGP drivers, etc. but
still can only have one or the other. Any ideas? Thanks.

Try moving the IDE card to a slot further from the AGP card..
