How do I stop recurring PDFmaker error message in WORD?

I am using XP as my operating system and Office 2003, I am also using a full
blown version of Acrobat v 5.0. I understand that Adobe does not support 5.0
with Office 2003. All I want is to get rid of the error message asking me if
I want "more information", "continue anyway", or "disable add-in for this
session". I have tried the suggested work around and I have downloaded 2
newer versions of Adobe Acrobat, but I always have to disable the add-in or I
am unable to open a .pdf file from the internet.

Remove the PDFMaker.dot or PDFMakerA.dot add-in from Word's Startup folder
or the Office Startup folder.

This is a great solution that needs to be posted to KB at
http://www.yqcomputer.com/ ;en-us;302596
instead of a lousy answer that there is now. Thank you, Suzanne!
This error message drove me nuts!!!
BTW, pdfmaker add-in should also be removed from Tools>Templates and Add-ins.

When you remove it from the Startup folders, it will not be loaded at
Startup. It will still be listed (but not checked) in Tools | Templates and
Add-ins, but an attempt to load it for a specific session would fail unless
you direct Word to the new template location.

I would add that I had to remove WWMAIN.DOT as well to get rid of all PDF
error messages.
