MS Word 2000 has lost the menu & toolbars

Post by Pats » Sun, 24 Aug 2003 04:16:39

Heelo, I run Office 2000 on my WinXP Home OS. Something
strange has happened. Word no longer has any menu or
toolbars. It avts like it is in full screen mode, but I
don't think it is because what I was about to read in the
F1 Help. If it is in full screen mode how do you STOP it?
===
When I start Word, it opens a blank document that has a
titile bar across the top saying Document1 - Microsoft
Word and underneath it it has ruller bar. It has scroll
bars on the left and at the bottom. Also at the bottom it
appears that this must be the status bar.
===
Let me tell you, all my other Office 2000 programs run
just fine and have all the toolbars and menu bar.
I ran a repair and nothing was repaired that I could see.
Next I unistalled Office 2000 and then reinstalled it
thinking for sure this would fix the problem, but it
didn't. I have been working on this problem for about 2
weeks now and I am tired od it. I would appreciate ANY
and ALL the help I can get. Patsi! P.S. Please email any
suggestions etc that you might have. Thanks!
