Install a printer that can print TrueType fonts. Almost all recent
printing devices can. The exceptions are Plotters, the Generic/text only
driver, and certain ink-jets when set to low resolution.
Even if there is no printer attached to the computer, install a printer
driver. For this purpose, one of the
HP LaserJets is a good choice.
: My company just provided a new Dell Inspiron 5100 with
: office XP. All applications except Word have the normal
: font list. Word only shows three, "Device Font 1ocpi,
: 12cpi, 17cpi". If I manually type in the name of the font
: I want, it does show up in the document, just the list
: under Format, Font still only shows the three.
: How do I get all the fonts back in MS Word?
: Please help.
