Can't change fonts in Word 2000 documents

Post by Jerr » Tue, 17 Feb 2004 23:53:37

I am using Word 2000 on XP and just recently all my Word
documents are in New Courier font ONLY. I cannot change
to any other font even though I highlight the text and
change the font in the toolbar. I have full use of fonts
in Excel and Powerpoint 2000. Could someone please help.

Many thanks,
Jerry

If you're in Normal view, check Tools | Options | View to see whether you
have "Draft font" checked. Alternatively, make sure that you have a default
printer selected that can print graphics (though normally if you have a
Generic/Text Only or other non-graphic printer selected, your only font
selection will be Times New Roman or the printer's resident fonts).
