Windows NLP Parsers for English

Hi,

I am looking for nlp parsers for english text which can run on
windows. I would like to experiment first. I need to use the output
of the parser from my application. I came across a number of parsers.
They are either

1. web-based
2. run only on unix (Charniak, Collins, Brills)
3. are do not have a API to be used from another project (Link Grammar
- CMU)

Can any one help me find a English Parser for WIndows or help with the
API of Link Grammar Parser.

Thanks a lot.
MP.

Take a look at http://www.yqcomputer.com/

There is an English Tagger that you can download. It comes with a
Visual Basic front end, and a program that you can run in batch in the
background. Someone at Iowa State used it and described it in:

Brill has written a part-of-speech tagger, not a parser.

Use Dan Bikel's parser:

It is a general and flexible NLP parser implementation, written in Java,
so it should also run under Windows. You can use it as a supplement for
Collins parser. In fact, it contains a clean reimplementation of Collins
parser.
