DOS file Sharing from one PC to another DOS PC

DOS file Sharing from one PC to another DOS PC

I would like to setup a DOS system with a HD as a shared drive. I
have a peer-to-peer network and want to transfer from the command line
files from the "server" to the "client".

What is the easiest way to do this?

Later, I would like to add the client software that connects to the
server onto a bootdisk, so I can easily copy over the files
automatically.

PCs are p166 with 32 MB RAM, Network cards will be different as I
would like to use it on several different computers. So the software
should be good for several different versions on NICs.

Needs to be a free or shareware solution.

Any Ideas?

Thanks!

net use z: \\othersystem\share
copy file.fil z:\

put the above in a .bat file and add a line to the end of the autoexec.bat

regular dos with network support will work.

you might need to change some paths around after compying it to your /dos folder.
