Netware 2.0 and Windows 98 question

Netware 2.0 and Windows 98 question

hey, i am new to the network adminstration field and recently took a
job at a small company. we are running a server with netware 2.0 and a
lot of windows 98 clients. obviously all of the PCs running here now
work fine, but if i try to start one from scratch and get it on our
network, i just can't seem to get it to work. i add the "client for
netware networks" in the network neighborhood properties and set it to
link to our server name, and change the primary login to "client for
netware networks". however, when i restart the computer i don't get
any login screen at all. windows just boots straight in and i can't
access the server. i can set all of the tcp/ip settings and connect to
the internet, and i can install dr. dos and connect to the server
through that, but for some reason i can't get windows to communicate
with our server. i don't know the guy that had this position before
me, and really just want to be able to get a fresh pc to access our
network. if anyone has any suggestions of something i might be
missing, i'd appreciate any help.

thanks,

brian
