Opening non-executable file using Shell in LotusScript

I accidentally found a cool kludge that gets around the serious
limitations of the Shell command in Windows. Try this:

Sub Click(Source As Button)
ret=Shell("explorer.exe c:\mydoc.doc")
End Sub

this is cool, although it doesn't work for scripts that require
parameters.

ret = Shell("explorer.exe C:\myscript.vbs arg1 arg2")

returns the following error:

"The path 'C:\myscript.vbs arg1 arg2' does not exist or is not a
directory"
