Baning Domains? (hotmail)

Post by David Rose » Fri, 09 Apr 2004 01:49:17

Since most of the spam comes in through hotmail, I would
like to ban the entire hotmail domain from getting into
our exchange server. However there are 3 or 4 normal
hotmail e-mail addresses that I need to be able to allow
through. Is there a way to be selective in this?

Thanks for your help.

Hi David,

With Exchange 2003 you can setup a connection filter and exclude certian
email addresses from the filter. The help file has configuration
information.

With any other version of Exchange you will need to find a spam filtering
program to do this.
