The reply-to address will be the bolded SMTP address in the Recipient Policy
or on the user account.

reply to their e-mail, they get an addtional invalid smtp address. For
example, XXXX@XXXXX.COM sends to XXXX@XXXXX.COM . When
XXXX@XXXXX.COM replies to the message (via the reply button), the
reply address would be XXXX@XXXXX.COM and an additional invalid smtp
address, like XXXX@XXXXX.COM ...etc. As a result, the contact would get an
invalid address notification from the second smtp address causing confusion
