I am presently doing a research project on human reaction rates and
the effect of aging. Any ideas or information regards resources,
websites, books etc......Many Thanks!

Try google.
You need to make the distiction between the speed of transmission along
nerve fibres (the speed of message to & from the spinal chord for the
knee-jerk reflex can be fairly easily and consistently measured), and
decision response times, which require some form of cognitive processing.

This is a very old subject, starting with Wundt even and Donders ...

I would suggest books in the library to start with.

At which level is the research project?

A Level project, so not nec. to go too indepth. I was hoping that it
being an oldie I'd find heaps of stuff, but I've mostly just come
across the mention (a line or two at most) of reaction rates and
nothing to do with why etc or the variables to consider.

I will try looking for books in the library though...thanks!
