Description: This group Lead position is the Enterprise Integration Architecture & Engineering Lead for the ICELANDER program, a classified new program expected to be awarded in August 2005. This position reports directly to the Enterprise Integration Manager, and is responsible for enterprise concepts of operation (CONOPS), architecture and interface design, interface management, product family and architecture optimization, architecture evolution planning, and technical and development metrics management. The individual will be keeper of the technical baseline for the enterprise and will be expected to coordinate decisions/conflicts/issues/impacts across the program, provide customer briefings at monthly PMR and at ad hoc meetings, and provide support to program costing efforts by developing technical, cost and risk inputs to ROMs, ECP, Action Items and/or software PRs and DRs toward satisfying customer commitments and established business/corporate goals.The individuals work outputs will be measured by customer satisfaction of the technical product and through the technical metrics (e.g., Technical Performance Measures) that are developed and maintained by the Enterprise Integration Architecture & Engineering Lead.The individual will have liaisons with the program office and personnel in other functional areas, such as Mission Success, in order to execute the technical efforts of the program. Individual will be expected to mentor engineers in adopting the IS&S engineering processes and the life cycle, instilling engineering discipline, and continuously raising the bar for engineering efforts.Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

General Position Description

Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems. Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintainance of system security. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.

Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an expert, authority in discipline.
