Eight to ten years related experience in analog CMOS IC
design for signal processing. MSEE required, PhD preferred.
Previous Project Lead experience and capabilities is
also a must for this role
Candidate should have a broad knowledge of analog CMOS
circuit design principles and techniques as well as a good
grasp of Discrete-Time Signal Processing principles.
Specific knowledge includes circuit analysis techniques,
small-signal and large-signal circuit behavior, noise
analysis, quantitative mismatch calculation, stability
analysis and techniques to stabilize feedback loops.
Experience designing bandgap regulators, CMOS op-amps, data
converters, active filters, and performing PLL loop analysis
is also required. DC-DC converter experience is a plus.
DSP algorithm experience in topics such as aliasing, FIR
filter design, windowing techniques, decimation,
interpolation, and modulation are desirable.
Candidate should also have working experience with Spectre,
Hspice, or equivalent circuit simulators. IC layout tool
experience is desirable. General experience with Unix, Unix
scripts, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and MS-Word also
desirable. Strong in-lab debug skills are a plus.
