I would like to be able to click a button on my Access form, then the VB
coding would run a Delphi program which updates some values in the Database.

Is that possible
What would the VB coding look like to start MyApp.exe
How can I pass a single text variable to MyApp

Executing a program is a Visual Basic question. You can pass text to
Delphi apps as a parameter on the commandline:

"c:\myapp\myapp.exe" "My text goes here"

It'll arrive in Delphi as ParamStr(1). You can check how many parameters
were passed in with ParamCount. Don't forget the quotes.
