Links adding second http to address

Helping a friend set up Eudoro 4.2 pro to replace his Outlook Express.
When he recieves email in Eudora showing there has been a response to a
message he has posted to one of the forums he frequents he is unable to
click the link to access the web page. When he tries to go to the link he
gets an error in IE6 that the page cannot be found. When you look at the
address field in IE the address that it is looking for has a second "http"
and quote mark added in it.

Example: http://" http://www.yqcomputer.com/

When you look at the link in the email it looks normal. And regular links to
web pages I have sent him work fine.

I helped him install this and have been over all the settings. They look
fine to me. I have used Eudora for several years and convinced him to try
it. Now I can't make his work right.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Since the URL was created by whoever runs that forum, that is the source of
the problem. If the URLs you send him work OK in Eudora, it's not a Eudora
problem.

work fine. I'm stumped.
