Is the computer looking for a network printer that isn't connected or
available or turned on? If so, try making another printer driver,
such as Text/Generic/, the local default printer.

No. That's what I get when I open the program. I cancel it 3 times and
the program opens fine. But I can't start or respond to an email as
the text area is grayed out.

There is a problem with Pegasus if you use a network printer that
isn't there (not turned on, for example). It doesn't matter if
you're trying to print anything. I suggest setting another printer
driver, such as Text/Generic, as the local default printer, just to
see if it makes any difference to your trouble.

Another thing you can try is this:

Before you start Pegasus, use Windows Explorer to find files with a
.CNM extension in your Pegasus mail directory. Those are your new
mail messages. Move them temporarily to another directory. Start
Pegasus. If everything is all right, move the files back one at a
time till you find the one that causes the problem.

A complete shut down of my system to include unplugging the computer
AND unplugging the printer has solved what ever problem it was. Thanks
for being there to help.

Yes, I would imagine that if you leave both unplugged it makes the
other problem you had basically a non-issue.
