Case Sensitivity in Glossary

Case Sensitivity in Glossary

This is pretty trivial, but it is a nuisance at times. Apparently the
glossary editor (Tools...Glossary...Create/Edit or ...Expand) is case-
sensitive in the expansion of abbreviations, but case-insensitive when
creating them.

For example, if I create an entry for the abbreviation "cia" I can
only expand "cia" in the text of a message. Attempting to expand
"CIA" results in an error beep. The expansion is therefore case-
sensitive, that is, the case must match the stored abbreviation
exactly.

But the glossary editor is NOT case-sensitive. Once I have entered
the abbreviation "cia" it is not possible to add a new abbreviation
"CIA" I found this out because entering both upper- and lower-case
versions of an abbreviation would is an immediate solution to my
problem, but I can't do it.

Like I said, trivial, but any help appreciated!

TIA.

David Harris promised to make the expansion case-sensitive in the next
(beta) release, so you'll see it sooner or later as well.
