Free Software, Free Society ... conference in May in Kerala, India

A Conference titled "Free Software, Free Society" is being organised at
Thiruvananthapuram, India, during May 28-30, 2005. The conference
positions itself at the intersection between free software, freedom of
knowledge, digital divide and freedom of creativity. Thus, movements
including Creative Commons and Open Access are of relevance to the
planned discussions. The Conference is being promoted by Hipatia, Italy
(www.hipatia.info), Society for the Promotion of Alternative Computing
and Employment (SPACE), India (www.space-kerala.org) and the Free
Software Foundation of India (www.gnu.org.in). Delegations from Brazil
and Venezuela also have shown interest in participating. More
