I can't seem to find a config anywhere, other than in the kde control
panel asking what linux should do on suspend, hibernate and standby.. I
set suspend to chvt 1, yet there is nothing for resume..

The glitch still happens, but I forgot to include earlier that it only
happens after I move my USB mouse... so it may have something tied to my
USB?

Black Sun and said:

Are you using APM or ACPI? Did you install and start apmd if you're
using APM? If an APM event occurs, all the scripts in /etc/apm/event.d/
are run and the first argument passed to each script is the name of the
APM event.

Some laptops' USB chipsets don't handle suspend/resume gracefully. You
should probably try having the suspend script rmmod usb-uhci (or
usb-ohci) and the resume script modprobe the module you rmmodded.
