I have a large text document to which I want to add the same word at

Try TEXTools. It's an inexpensive solution for these kinds of text
manipulation problems. TEXTools incorporates 62 (soon to be 69) text
translation filters that you can easily combine into text processing
solutions to quickly morph text into virtually any form you need. Of
those 62 text translation filters, you'd need only one to do what you
want to do:

InsStr 1 'some word'

This inserts the text, "some word" into each line at character position
1.

TEXTools can be found at www.fireflysoftware.com.

Best of luck,
