Look in the Resource View tab - it's called "Version".

If you want to get the number you enter here into the About box, you'll need
a class - http://www.yqcomputer.com/

Version/build strings/numbers in Visual Studio

Post by Casper » Fri, 12 Nov 2004 14:02:39

I have been unable to locate any MACRO or other build-in features of the
VS IDE (7.0) where I can specify version of my application.

How is this done in VC++? Also, is there support for an incremental
build counter as known in Visual Basic and C#?

Thanks in advance,
Casper Bang

Thanks Baxter, just the info I needed - I did not know version info was
a "class of ressources" I had to create.
