Determining if a console user logged on vs. remote user logged on

Hi,

What is the way on WinNT to determine whether if a console user has
logged onto a machine (local user logging on in front of the machine)
vs. a remote user logging on through remote desktop?

In both cases, looks like they will have a shell under
"HKLM\\software\\microsoft\\windows
nt\\currentversion\\winlogon\\shell" (explorer.exe).

Thanks
