Unneeded files?

Unneeded files?

I was just going thru the Windows dir and looking for crap, cleaning DLLs
with DLL Sweeper, and I noticed these possibly unneeded files: Gd.cab,
isUninst.exe, iun6002.exe, mmc.exe, puninstl.exe, Setup1.exe,
Setupslt.exe. Anybody know what they are and if I need them or not? I
suspect some of them I'd need the install CD for anyway, so I could just
run them from there, others I dunno.

For instance, what about the INF files in Windows\Inf?

Or, this monstrosity?: WINDOWS\Local Settings\Application
Data\{7148F0A6-6813-11D6-A77B-00B0D0142010}\Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE
v1.4.2_01.msi

Aren't MSI file's install files? IOW, once installed it could be archived
to CD, or deleted?
