I've been banging my head against the wall on this one. Perhaps
someone has a thought or comment on this.
I was handed a Windows 95 computer and asked to put it in our Windows
NT 4.0 domain.
On the W95 computer I right-clicked on Network Neighborhood and
clicked on the Identiification tab.
IN the Workgroup field, I entered the name of the NT 4.0 domain name.
I clicked OK and rebooted.
Upon start up, I was asked a log on for the TACNW domain. I entered a
username and password and logged on successfully so it seemed. I am
able to now browse the network from the W95 machine.
The problem is, I need to get some data off of the Windows 95 machine.
From any server on the network (all WinNT 4.0 SP 6a) I can SEE the
Windows 95 machine, but I whenever I try to access it by
double-clicking on it I get an error message:
"<WIN95 ComputerName> IS NOT ACCESSIBLE. THE NETWORK PATH WAS NOT
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
