Is anyone here using SafeLaunch? I came across it on a download site, and I
think its brilliant. It lets you run programs in a sandbox. Every time you
run a program using SafeLaunch, if the program tries to modify the registry
or files or connect out to another machine, it popups a dialog box to let
you know whats happen and if the action should be allow or disallowed.
Pretty cool.

I quite often download software form the internet, and have always wonder if
the software was installing trojans, or doing anything it shouldn't.
Previously I'd been running these things in a vmware session, but Safe
Launch seems much more convienent.

Anyway, if anyone's interested you shoud check it out at

1. sandbox software for running untrusted software

2. Safe Launch virtual sandbox for untrusted software

Do you worry about running software you've download from the Net? I know I
do.
Worried it'll delete files or registry setting, or install trojans and
backdoors into your system?

I have the solution, SafeLaunch! Take a look at http://www.yqcomputer.com/

Everytime the program running under Safe Launch tries to something that
could modify
your system, SafeLaunch checks with you for permissions. Our virtual sandbox
technology
gives you the control to decide if a program can or cant perform an activity
which could damage your system.

Safe Launch can be used to protect your valueable data, and ensure that your
system's
integrity is not compromised when running untrusted software.
