FP and Excel: Anybody find a workaround yet?

Post by Noel » Sun, 21 Dec 2003 09:31:14

After spending the past hour reading through this very
helpful newsgroup, I've determined that my desire to put
an editable Excel spreadsheet on my website is something
that frontpage/excel just won't do.

However, I was hoping that someone out there has found a
product, or some solution, that would allow a user to
modify an excel spreadsheet on a website, without having
to download the file or enter password permissions.

Thank you very much.

FrontPage is not a factor.

Thank you very much for your kind reply, but this does not
support the use of shared spreadsheets. I have tried
this, and if it is accessed by more than one user at a
time, it does not allow modifications.

Again, thank you for your time, and for trying to direct
me to the right information.

Actually, yes it is. Frontpage, when published, removes
the sharing factor found in Excel. FP STATES so when you
publish the page.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

Noel.
