Security issues with SCILAB on Windows XP

Hi
I like to install SCILAB on the computer in our computer lab for
educational purposes.
My main concern is with security issues.
I want to make sure the users do not gain access to a command prompt or
alter internals of the computer through scilab.
If you have suggestions/experience with this issue please share your

I am experiencing a similar problem with update a security update Q811114 (please see update log below). I have installed it many times but it keeps showing up. This is the first time in years that I have ever expereinced this type of problem with the same update appearing over and over. I have tried it with all firewalls and virus checkers turned off so that doesn't seem to be the problem. Any ideas
