hi there, i am new scilab user from malaysia. this is my work on
matlab.

clear all;

% Simulation parameters
opt = simset('solver','ode5','SrcWorkspace','Current');
TStart=0;
TFinal=40;
a=3;
b=5;

% main
for i=1:1:5
a=i;
b=b+1;

[tout,xout,yout] = sim('afif',[TStart TFinal],opt); %%%% possible
in scilab???
t(:,i)=tout;
x(:,i)=xout(:,2);
end

in this M-file, i used sim function to run a transfer function file
name 'afif'. is there any function in scilab represent the sim

I can't find it. Can't find the file, though there's a documentation
about it in the help (under the keyword "startup").
In scilab-4.1.1 it is simply located in <path2sci>/

In SCIHOME/.Scilab/scilab-5.0.2 there's no scilab.ini neither.
So: how does it loads all its own libs first place?
(in scilab-4.1.1, all is done from SCI/scilab.star)
Now in order to load my own libraries or third parties ones such as
SIP, I will create a scilab.star in SCI (for scilab-5.0.2).
