a plea for a tiny language change

Hi,

having just been bitten by this 'incompatibility' between Matlab and
Scilab, I would like to suggest the following change :

The functions eye, zeros and ones should be changed such that
e.g. eye(n)

is either equivalent to eye(n,n) as it is in Matlab
or it produces an error condition.

Thanks for your attention,

As far as I remember, the feature "zeros(x), ones(x), eye(x) giving
a matrix the same size as x" was also a feature of Matlab until version
5. I am affraid that a lot of Scilab users are using this... We should ask
them before changing things.
