What PB version? Do you have the "Preview" tab on the database connection.
If so, make sure your script looks like it. In particular, I think you're
missing some quotes:

SQLCA.DBMS = "ODBC"
SQLCA.DBParm = "ConnectString='DSN=ASA 8.0 Client Sample;UID=;PWD='"
