PowerBuilder 10 in Win98

PowerBuilder 10 in Win98

Post by Kwan Thean » Sat, 18 Dec 2004 16:36:17

Hi,
Can I have some confirmation whether Application developed in PB10 can
be used in Win 98 environment ?

I know development environment requires WInXP SP1/WIn2k Sp4 and above
but this is for the user environment.

I wrote a simple Hello World program and tried running on different
platforms. WinNT is OK but Win98 gives me problem.
Just wanna do some confirmation here. Thanks

Cheers
Kwan

1. Informix 10.0 or 9.4 support Powerbuilder 10.x

2. Powerbuilder Migration from 7 to 10

Hi ...

We have migrated the application from Powerbuilder 7 to 10 and found
successul in some cases. But, in some cases, we have problem in
ansi/Unicode formats in Saveas(). When we try to save as in HTML using
"PSReport!" and open, we get Message "Datawindow syntax has incorrect
release number".

Please help regarding this. Also do we need to change the code like (
len, fill, right, replace etc..) manually while migrating ?

Thanks in advance

Pawan
