I am using PROC TABULATE to generate loan transition matrices on the
number of loans and their dollar value. I want to save these data for
further programming. The logic of the process is to generate a
frequency table of the loan classifications on their classifications
in the previous quarter.
I can print the matrices from PROC TABULATE, but I am not sure how to
save them for further processing. Can someone lend me hand in saving
them with PROC TABULATE or must I program out the same activitity in
PROC FREQ? If so, how do I get SAS to do this in PROC FREQ?
This code works:
TITLE1 "PROC TABULATE ON QUARTERS (&__qtr1) AND (&__qtr2).";
PROC TABULATE DATA=WORK.tmp;
CLASS lag_status_cde loan_status_cde;
TABLE lag_status_cde, loan_status_cde * (N="Number of loans"
FORMAT loan_status_cde $loan_status. lag_status_cde $loan_status.;
