Thanks, sometimes it is that simple :-) I mistakenly thought it was a class
and found no info about it in the "Alphabetical class reference". Now I
realise it is just a function, found it under "functions"/"Alphabetical
functions and macros list", and it says precisely that. A free text search
feature for the wxWidget manual would be nice to have one day :-)

I will try it on wxGTK!

I have tried it now, on Kubuntu 7.04 using wxWidgets 2.8.4 Linux unicode
build. With the proper #include, it compiles and links fine, but there is no
bell sound like on Windows, in fact nothing at all. I have tested that other
sounds work on the system and that the volume is turned up. Still nothing
from wxBell ?
