G5 won't boot

G5 won't boot

Help, I have a duel 2.5 ghz G5 that's out of warranty by 2 months, and
Apple doesn't want to know about it. It won't boot, no chime, and no
power LED on the front panel, no display, just a dark screen. Fans
start slow, and as the processors heat up they gain speed, and you can
feel slight heat coming from the processor fans so I know they are
drawing power. LED's are lit on the Apple Raid card and the Video
card. If you remove the plastic side cover the fans speed up, and a
red LED lights on the Logic board. I think the key is why doesn't the
power LED remain lit? It must fail some part of the boot. Does anybody
know the boot sequence? I have too much money in video capture Final
Cut HD memory etc. etc., to use it as a boat anchor.
Thanks Dave

Pull all cards other than video, pull any third-party RAM, disconnect
all FireWire devices, disconnect all USB devices except the keyboard and
mouse, unplug the G5 for a minute to reset the SMU
< http://www.yqcomputer.com/ ;, make sure the
air deflector is properly installed

start up from the Hardware Test disc.

If that doesn't work, take it in for repair.
