Where can I get packaging from?

Post by Luke A. Gu » Tue, 30 Nov 2004 22:18:17

Hi,

I've got a couple of O2's and some monitors I want to sell, but I don't
have any boxes for them. I could go to staples and buy a pack of 10 600mm
x 600mm x 600mm boxes, but that's like 0!!

There must be a cheaper way?

Thanks,
Luke.

Around here the liquor stores are a great place to get free (slightly used)
boxes. I also know that clothing stores go through a lot of boxes, so if you ask
the staff nicely they might be able to grab a few out of the back room for you.

Or if someone from England is looking for an O2 and willing to pick it up
from me ;-)

If the OP is willing to pay a little for unused boxes, I've found that
moving companies (and related businesses, like mini-storage facilities
and U-Haul/truck rental places) sell boxes relatively cheaply. If you
need a *big* box, they can be a good source.

I think you've been emptying a few too many liquor boxes, judging from the
incoherence of your post, but I should note that there is such a thing as a
foldable jerry can made out of corrugated plastic which could be called a
gasoline box if one were so inclined.

Visit any local supermarket and speak nicely to the

Nope. Apparently people don't hire programmers any more.

Well that explains the incoherence at least.
